What does it mean to live a life less serious?

3PUK Conference: Sunday 19 - Tuesday 21 June

Join George and fellow contributors, Carol Boroughs, Bronwen Warner and Janet Rhynie at the 3PUK conference.

This is hugely meaningful for George, as it was 12 years ago that sne organised their first conference – and ended up with two black eyes as she was taking my job so seriously she didn’t notice a glass door in my path.

This began her journey of learning to take her thinking less seriously, embracing the unknown and navigating her work life with a lot more ease and a lot less angst.

If you are curious to find out more from George, our amazing contributors as well as some of the leading teachers of this understanding in the world, why not join us face-to-face or online.

Thinking Like A Woman

Eleanor Roosevelt once famously said, “A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it’s in hot water.” When George Halfin, Innate Health coach, project manager at a national UK charity and mum of two, felt the weight of the world coming down on her at the start of the pandemic, she sought the wisdom of other women who had been in difficult situations. She learned that many of them conquered their struggles by thinking differently.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, George will speak to us about what she learned from these women, and how they motivated her to bring their inspiring stories together in her book, “A Life Less Serious.”

This will be a hybrid event, which means it will be held in-person as well as live-streamed through our website, https://www.sundayassembly.com. We will make a Zoom room available for livestreamers after the assembly has finished. Link to be shared on the day.
